Marketing? Real Estate? Finance? How are they connected?

This past week in ISM we were focused on our second assessment of the year, which consisted of five annotated bibliographies. For these bibliographies I focused on articles that consisted of further information about real estate, and I went ahead and looked a bit into how marketing and finance can be used in the real estate industry. From this I learned real estate consists of a lot of both marketing and finance. I can create short videos of properties I’m selling to attract customers and real estate consists of quite a bit of accounting so it would be good to major in a finance degree. After reading this, some questions I have are what schools in the state of Texas have a reputation for being a good finance school and as for my topic I want to find out what programs offered in Texas are good for getting a real estate license. I didn’t consider this week a challenging week in ISM therefore I didn’t face any problems and was successful in finding articles relevant to my research.As for next week I need to work on getting a professional outfit for future meetups with both my mentor and future interviews. Talking about interviews I also need to focus on improving my interview skills.
